wireless communication technology developed


In recent years, with the wireless communication technology developed rapidly and the number of mobile users raise obviously, the demands of using multimedia applications (such as data, image and video) were also increasing rapidly. As wireless resource is often limited in practical wireless networks, trying to allow as many applications as possible to be accessed with limited wireless resource, while QoS of each application can be acceptable, becomes a important and difficult problem. In this circumstance, study on modeling the traffic of different types of applications and wireless resource management in future wireless networks is becoming more and more necessary.In this paper, P2P applications modeling and wireless resource allocation are studied. The application scenes include high speed mobile application scene and dense users application scene. These two scenes have something in common, but the differences between them are also obvious. In high speed mobile application scene, the channel quality changed more rapidly, while in dense users application scene, the user number is much larger and the competition of wireless resource is more serious.
